Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Onsite
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical system projects from concept through deployment. This role is critical to driving innovation, ensuring system integrity, and supporting strategic engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead complex electrical system projects from design through implementation
Develop innovative design solutions, methodologies, and engineering standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, budgets, and timelines
Ensure projects meet technical, safety, and quality requirements
Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams and clients
Technical Expertise
Design and analyze electrical systems for manufacturing or automation environments
Interpret equipment wiring schematics and develop input/output lists
Apply industry codes and standards including UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC
Support troubleshooting and optimization of electrical systems
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor and guide junior engineers to support professional growth
Promote company Mission, Vision, and Core Values
Provide technical updates and address client inquiries
Demonstrate strong teamwork, reliability, and professional accountability
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Experience
Minimum 5 years of applicable engineering experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
Experience leading electrical system design projects
Required Skills
Proficiency in ACAD Electrical
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, make timely decisions, and work with urgency
Ability to read electrical schematics and generate I/O lists
Working knowledge of UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC standards
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in electrical system design and project leadership
Advanced knowledge of electrical design software and analysis tools
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
Knowledge of electrical safety best practices across various voltages and currents
Experience with large-scale automation projects using platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or GE
Physical & Travel Requirements
Ability to walk, stand, and squat to inspect and troubleshoot equipment
Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
Willingness to travel up to 10%
