We're Hiring: Senior Data Engineer!

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support an advanced visual analytic
application. This role involves developing data analytics for desktop and web-based visual
analytic software, facilitating bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics,
visualization, and high-performance computing, and utilizing specified open source, COTS, and
GOTS technologies. The Senior Data Engineer will establish applications that produce
actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data, design strategies for
enterprise database systems, set standards for operations, programming, and security, construct
large relational databases, and integrate new systems with existing warehouse structures to refine
system performance and functionality.

What You'll Do:
∙Develop data analytics for desktop and web-based visual analytic software.
∙Facilitate bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing.
∙Utilize specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
∙Establish applications that produce actionable intelligence from structured and semi- structured data.
∙Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security.
∙Design and construct large relational databases.
∙Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structures and refine system performance and functionality.

What We're Looking For:
∙Active Top Secret/SCI Eligibility Clearance.
∙Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering or related work.
∙Proficiency in Java, AWS, Python, Apache Spark, Linux, Git, Maven, and Docker.
∙Experience maintaining an Apache Hadoop Ecosystem using tools like HBase, MapReduce, and Spark.
∙Knowledge of ETL processes utilizing Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow.
∙Experience with AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EMR, KMS, SQS,
SNS, and Systems Manager.
∙Experience in supporting, maintaining, and migrating JavaFX applications to modern
cloud-native solutions.
∙Strong decision-making skills and domain knowledge.
∙Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR an additional 4 years of relevant experience in
lieu of a degree.
