Senior Cost Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Cost Accounting
- Lead standard costing, cost roll‑ups, and variance analysis
- Review absorption rates and analyze cost drivers
- Provide costing insights for pricing, strategy, and new product initiatives
Inventory Management
- Oversee reserve calculations for financial and bank reporting
- Improve and standardize inventory reporting
- Partner with BI to develop upgraded reporting and visibility
General Ledger
- Journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis supporting monthly close
Qualifications
- 6+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing
- Bachelors in Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
