Senior Corporate Development Analyst PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Senior Corporate Development Analyst to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The Senior Analyst role will focus on corporate development, market analytics, and financial modeling to evaluate growth opportunities across refining, biofuels, global carbon markets, and related industries. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Help develop and maintain a market intelligence/competitive landscape database pertaining to refining, biofuels and related markets. Help develop and maintain related supply/demand models. Support general corporate development initiatives, primarily in the refining and renewables arena, including evaluation of joint ventures, tolling structures, offtake agreements, feedstock partnerships, and potential acquisitions or investments Assist in evaluating strategic growth opportunities across refining, biofuels and low-carbon fuel markets Monitor policy and regulatory developments (e.g., tax credits, low-carbon fuel standards, aviation mandates) and assess impacts on project economics and competitive positioning Prepare investment memoranda, strategic briefs, and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree required, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in equity research, corporate development, investment banking, strategy, energy markets, renewables, or related roles Experience or familiarity with energy, refining, biofuels, agriculture, or carbon markets strongly preferred Strong analytical and financial modeling background Advanced financial modeling skills, including expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Ability to analyze complex datasets and market dynamics, identify key trends and value drivers, and translate insights into strategic recommendations Experience building business cases and investment theses to evaluate growth opportunities and strategic transactions Familiarity with carbon markets, regulatory incentive frameworks, or commodity markets is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership Team player; detail-oriented, high-energy, intellectually curious, and well-organized Travel – up to 10% This position is on site 5 days a week. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate’s compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases.
