Write, proofread and edit clear and concise User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) texts, including content and error messages, onboarding, feature naming, promos, product tours, and instructional materials, to help users navigate our products.
Facilitate alignment among product managers, operations, marketing, and other leadership stakeholders on the use of key terms and concepts for consistent messaging, product narrative, and product voice.
Audit content to define and implement a cohesive narrative across a product, contribute to content standards and champion best practices.
Collaborate, influence, and drive consensus among cross-functional teams consisting of UX/UI Designers, Engineers, Researchers, and Product Design Managers.
Provide feedback on the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences.
Mentor junior-level team members.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in English, Literature, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Writing user interface copy, microcopy, user education, direct emails, style guides, or product launch content;
Creating and maintaining content strategy guidelines and terminology glossaries;
Planning and facilitating user interviews, usability research, usability tests, and A/B tests to validate content decisions;
Using UX/UI design principles of consistency, context, hierarchy, accessibility, and usability to guide the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of UX/UI applications;
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and translation teams, to develop and ensure that UX/UI contents are localized to assist users navigate the product in a specific market; and
Using Sketch, Figma, and Asana.
