Job Details
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Project Manager with 7+ years of experience managing commercial interior projects, including office, retail, and restaurant/hospitality build‑outs. This role is responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast‑paced interior construction environment, values teamwork, and understands that strong project management is rooted in communication, planning, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through project closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams, maintaining our service‑first reputation.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls, ensuring accuracy and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring scope compliance, quality workmanship, and schedule adherence.
- Administer contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and pay applications in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders.
- Partner with preconstruction and estimating teams to support buyout, value engineering, and project handoff.
- Monitor jobsite safety, quality standards, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Deliver projects that meet our standards for quality, schedule, and client satisfaction, even under aggressive timelines.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management experience in commercial interior construction.
- Proven experience managing office, retail, and restaurant/hospitality interior projects.
- Strong working knowledge of interior construction trades, including MEP coordination, finishes, millwork, and specialty installations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage fast‑track interior projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency with construction project management software and scheduling tools.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client‑focused mindset.
