Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee complex civil infrastructure projects for municipal and public sector clients
  • Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor junior project managers and engineers
  • Serve as the primary client contact for major infrastructure projects
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and overall delivery performance
  • Ensure designs comply with municipal codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical leadership across utilities, stormwater, roadway, and infrastructure design
  • Coordinate with city officials, public agencies, and project stakeholders
  • Review engineering deliverables and provide technical oversight
  • Utilize engineering tools including Civil 3D, StormCAD, Civil Storm, HEC HMS, and HEC RAS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of civil engineering experience focused on municipal infrastructure
  • 4+ years of experience managing engineering projects and teams
  • Active Texas Professional Engineer license required
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex public works projects
  • Experience managing project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong background in utilities, stormwater infrastructure, roadway, or municipal public works
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D, Bentley StormCAD or Civil Storm, HEC HMS, and HEC RAS
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
  • Experience working with Austin area municipalities strongly preferred
  • Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Austin
