This position is intended for a senior engineer ready to run projects independently, lead teams, and build lasting client relationships while playing a key role in the continued growth of our firm.

Are you a dynamic and experienced Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager looking for a challenging role where you can make a significant impact? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in project management and a Professional Engineering (PE) license. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be working on a diverse range of projects, including land development, site development, roadway, and sewer systems. You will be an integral part of our engineering team, managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:
  • Lead and manage various civil engineering projects, including land and site development, grading, roadway, and sewer systems.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and design of stormwater and drainage systems.
  • Utilize Civil 3D software for design and modeling tasks.
  • Manage erosion control measures and develop effective solutions for environmental engineering challenges.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring all permitting requirements are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Continually monitor project progress, ensuring all milestones are met and any issues are promptly addressed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A valid Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water, sewer, drainage and/or land development, site development, grading, roadway, and sewer systems.
  • Proficiency in H&H and Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong knowledge of stormwater management, drainage systems, and erosion control measures.
  • Experience in environmental engineering and familiarity with relevant regulations and permitting processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
