Contract | Immediate Need | Nonprofit/Government Audit
A mission‑driven organization is seeking an experienced auditor to step into a high‑impact, short‑term project supporting their upcoming audit cycle. This is a fully remote, part‑time role with flexible hours and an ASAP start.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and finalize audit documentation (leases, fixed assets, AR, schedules)
- Support Single Audit compliance and prepare required schedules
- Partner with finance leadership to resolve audit questions and correct prior‑year issues
What You Bring
Must-Haves
- Governmental or nonprofit audit experience
- Strong Single Audit knowledge
- Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, compliant documentation
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, schedule review)
Nice-to-Haves
- CPA
- Recent nonprofit/government audit project work
- Flexibility for part‑time hours
