Our client has an active search for an experienced tax and estate planning attorney to join their growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity with an established business law firm offering a platform to expand your practice and service an existing mix of high profile businesses and individuals.
Interested candidates should have 7+ years of solid experience in sophisticated estate and tax planning work. We're seeking an attorney who can handle the full scope of T&E work—complex trusts, estate administration, fiduciary matters, gift and estate tax returns, controversies, audits, and valuation issues.
The incoming attorney will work with high net worth clients and businesses on wealth planning, income and transfer tax strategies, charitable planning, and business succession. Federal tax planning for individuals and entities, plus transactional work, should be well within your comfort zone. Our ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, takes initiative, and has a portable book of business or the ambition and network to build one.

Job Details
Interested candidates must be admitted to the New York bar and have extensive experience in estate planning, administration, and taxation. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred but not required. Bar admission to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida or New Jersey is a plus.
