Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Attorney specializing in the area of guardianship, powers of attorney, trusts, and estates. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, high-performance legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry with a strong emphasis on the mentioned areas. This role requires a strategic thinker who is capable of handling complex legal matters and providing expert advice to clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice and representation in the areas of guardianship, powers of attorney, trusts, and estates.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to estate planning and management.
3. Represent clients in court proceedings and in front of government agencies, as needed.
4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and excellent service.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to develop strategies and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
7. Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations related to guardianship, powers of attorney, trusts, and estates.
8. Provide training and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff in the firm.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in the areas of guardianship, powers of attorney, trusts, and estates.
3. Must possess a valid license to practice law in the state.
4. Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal matters related to estate planning and management.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
8. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
9. Demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior staff.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
