Position Overview
The Senior Associate, Investments supports the investment team in sourcing, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities. The role combines financial modeling, market research, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring to help drive investment decisions.
Senior Associates work closely with Vice Presidents, Directors, and other senior investment professionals, contributing to deal execution and portfolio management while developing their analytical and strategic skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis for potential investments
Support due diligence, including market research, competitive analysis, and operational assessments
Assist in structuring and executing transactions, including documentation and coordination with legal and compliance teams
Monitor portfolio company or asset performance, including financial reporting, key metrics, and risk monitoring
Prepare investment memos, presentation decks, and updates for senior management and investment committees
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely execution of investment initiatives
Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to inform investment strategy and decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA or MBA is a plus
2–5 years of relevant investment experience (private equity, credit, growth equity, or other alternative investments)
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
Experience supporting deal execution and due diligence processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or portfolio management tools is a plus
