Job Details

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Manage full‑cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable across multiple entities.
  • Maintain general ledgers, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end close.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, investment accounts, credit cards, and intercompany activity.
  • Support cash flow tracking, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.

Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities, including trusts, partnerships, and operating companies.
  • Assist in consolidations and preparation of management reporting packages.
  • Maintain documentation, schedules, and workpapers to support audits and internal reviews.

Tax Compliance Support
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors on federal, state, and local filings.
  • Prepare and maintain tax schedules, K‑1 support, depreciation schedules, and entity‑level documentation.
  • Track tax deadlines, estimated payments, and compliance requirements across entities.

AI & Finance Transformation
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI‑enabled tools and workflow automation platforms.
  • Implement and maintain AI‑driven solutions for invoice processing, data extraction, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Partner with leadership to modernize the finance tech stack and improve data visibility.
  • Develop SOPs and best practices for new tools and processes.

General Family Office Support
  • Assist with investment tracking, capital calls, distributions, and performance reporting.
  • Support real estate and operating company accounting as needed.
  • Handle ad‑hoc projects with professionalism, discretion, and a service‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience (public accounting, private accounting, or family office experience ideal).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and multi‑entity accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in AI tools, automation, or finance transformation initiatives.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast‑moving, highly collaborative environment.
