Position Summary
The Senior Application Developer will play a key role in developing and enhancing a high-performance transaction processing system. This role involves working primarily with C and C++ to build and maintain business-critical services within a large, established application environment.
The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and ongoing competitiveness.
Work Location:
Full-time, on-site position based in Hallandale Beach, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement application software across a diverse technology stack
Maintain and enhance a large, monolithic application system
Support both existing and newly developed software applications
Participate in system testing, including test reviews and analysis
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development processes
Provide technical guidance and leadership within the development team
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional experience programming and debugging in C and C++
At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (or TFS)
Strong application development experience
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
Working knowledge of SQL database technologies
Strong mathematical and computer science fundamentals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in high-volume, real-time transaction processing environments
Experience within regulated, transactional, or gaming-related industries
Familiarity with wagering, gaming, sports technology, or marketplace platforms
