Our Los Angeles team is looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Benefits team. This person will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise for the administration of colleague benefits across the company, the coordination for LOA Administration, and the coordination of workers’ compensation claims. The position is responsible for major support during open enrollment and assisting in planning of various benefit fairs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the annual open enrollment process including communications development, system setup, and implementation of plan changes
- Generate and manage open enrollment and new hire benefit sessions within the HR and Payroll systems
- Review colleague benefit elections and act as an advocate to resolve health, dental, life, commuter, FSA, HSA, and related benefit issues
- Coordinate and administer leave of absence and workers’ compensation programs, including premium collection and HRIS tracking
- Prepare and file required compliance reports including 1095-C and 1094 forms and other regulatory documentation
- Develop, review, and oversee all benefits-related communications including wellness and promotional materials
- Prepare census and benefits reports for actuaries, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee COBRA administration and reconciliation while ensuring accurate benefit charge processing in HRIS
- Train and support team members on benefits and leave processes while maintaining accurate colleague benefit records
- Analyze benefits and leave data using strong analytical and research skills to support compliance and decision-making
- Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned

Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university required
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws including FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, ADA, EEO, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA
- Working knowledge of leave and disability regulations including ADA, FEHA, CFRA, PDL, NPLA, and workers’ compensation
- Communicate effectively across departments and organizational levels through clear written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities with a high degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 to $110,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional , discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
