Job Summary/Company:  Sparks Group has partnered with a global aviation company looking for a Senior Aircraft Technician- MAR for an indefinite contract.    if you have at least 6+ years of aircraft maintenance experience including some helicopter experience this is the perfect role for you.  Apply now and call 703-620-6444 for an immediate interview! 


Primary Responsibilities:

Aircraft Inspections: 60%

  • Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
  • Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.

System Troubleshooting: 20%

  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.

Compliance: 20%

  • Assure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
  • Follow all OSHA, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in flight tests on aircraft and log work to be performed, as required. Interface with customers for delivery; prepare for delivery inspection and any problems customers may discover.


Your boarding pass:

  • Minimum six (6) years of aviation maintenance experience.
  • Current FAA A&P license OR the ability to qualify for a Repairman Certificate.(Repairman Certificate requires 18 months of maintenance experience on Airbus manufactured helicopters).
  • Safran Turbomeca engine experience is preferred but not required.
  • General knowledge of standard practices and troubleshooting methods.
  • Helicopter maintenance experience preferred
