The Administrative Coordinator provides support for the BU Center for the Humanities, with particular focus on awards applications, publications, and supervising/managing undergraduate staff. Manage all awards competitions. Manage PR and communications for Center, including updating website, overseeing weekly events/opportunities/and news bulletin, and producing the annual newsletter. Mentor student staff on all writing, design, and publicity. Provide support for event coordination, process disbursement requests, and assist with purchasing and travel arrangements as needed.
Required Skills
BA in a Humanities field and a minimum of one to three years of experience required. This is a 12 months position at 50% time (20 hours/week) position. Strong oral and written communication skills necessary. Basic familiarity with MS Excel, WordPress, Canva, and MailChimp a plus.
