Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
• High‑visibility Senior Accounting Manager role supporting US Markets technical accounting, complex transactions, and strategic initiatives
• Reports to a fantastic Director who reports to the US Controller — strong leadership, highly regarded, and great to work with
• Not a traditional close‑heavy role — deep business partnership, exposure to Corporate Development, and involvement in acquisitions
• Significant long‑term growth opportunity within a global, publicly traded data & analytics leader
• Exceptional culture
• Only 2 days in-office weekly
• Excellent benefits: robust Day‑1 medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, ESPP with 15% discount, FTO (flexible time off), and on-site gym
• Opportunity to build technical accounting mastery while influencing decisions across the business

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounting Manager:
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand new initiatives and evaluate accounting implications under U.S. GAAP
• Prepare technical accounting memos for new, complex, or unusual transactions, ensuring decision-makers understand implications in advance
• Monitor minority investments for cash flow, operational risk, and impairment indicators; review related entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support statutory audit processes for foreign entities acquired by the US Markets segment, coordinating with auditors and external bookkeepers
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting on all M&A activity — coordinate acquisition/divestiture entries, review supporting schedules, and support QofE, audits, and diligence
• Assess the impact of new accounting standards and partner with operational accounting teams to implement new guidance, policies, and controls
• Oversee technical accounting areas during month-end close to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Identify opportunities to streamline technical processes through automation and technology-driven solutions
• Communicate complex accounting matters clearly to stakeholders across Finance, Corporate Development, FP&A, and business leadership
• Serve as a trusted advisor for technical questions, policy interpretation, and accounting implications of strategic business decisions

Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA required
• 6–7+ years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 or public accounting background strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting topics, and SEC reporting processes
• Experience supporting month-end close and earnings cycles for public companies

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounting Manager seeking meaningful technical ownership, executive exposure, and the chance to contribute to strategic business decisions within a global, high-growth organization.
