As a key member of our finance team, you’ll be responsible for optimizing financial operations and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. You’ll lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration while managing critical areas like asset accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Champion continuous improvement in financial processes and team collaboration
  • Ensure financial documentation is complete, accurate, and secure
  • Manage fixed asset accounting: acquisitions, depreciation, transfers, and retirements
  • Lead fixed asset inventory audits and maintain detailed records
  • Prepare and manage the annual CAPEX budget and ROI documentation for projects
  • Handle personal property tax returns, payments, and maintain related records
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Analyze inventory, cost, expense, and labor data for insights and reporting
  • Perform journal entries and GAAP-based adjustments
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure financial accuracy
  • Collaborate with AP, AR, Purchasing, Finance, and IT teams
  • Provide backup and strategic support to the Controller and Assistant Controller
Senior Accountant Education & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and fixed asset accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of cost accounting and margin analysis
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and cross-functional teamwork
