Quality, professional, and growing CPA firm is seeking an experienced public accounting professional with 3-10 years of public accounting background to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for tax preparation and review along with compilation and accounting for a diverse group of clients - corporations, partnerships in a variety of industries and individual tax returns. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years public accounting experience, a degree in accounting and be working towards or have obtained the CPA. Additional requirements include:

· Tax preparation and review experience with personal and business tax returns;

· Working knowledge of bookkeeping and GAAP financial statement preparation;

· Experience with CCH Axcess and CCH Engagement and PPC for financial statement preparation or similar software;

· Experience interacting with clients and taxing authority representatives;

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a collaborative approach with co-workers and clients;

· The client is an in-office firm - 40 hours/week outside of tax season and gradual ramp up during tax season;

· Summer Fridays Memorial Day thru Labor Day, the office closes at 3pm;
