The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the general ledger and support the month‑end close
- Prepare, post, and review journal entries
- Review and approve billing and accounts payable
- Assist as the primary audit support liaison
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls
What They’re Looking For
- Ideally 8–10+ years of accounting experience
- Experience owning the GL and close process
- Comfortable reviewing work and maintaining high standards
- Audit support experience
- GASB experience is a strong plus
