Senior Accountant (Hybrid) - Atlanta, GA

$105,000–$110,000 Base + 5% Bonus

We’re partnering with a fast‑growing organization to add a Senior Accountant to their accounting team. This role offers real ownership, strong work‑life balance, and a clearly defined path into leadership.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 remote) with flexibility and a supportive team culture.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a key and fast‑growing service line and partner closely with billing, payroll, operations, and leadership.

Responsibilities include:
• Month‑end close and financial reporting
• Preparing and analyzing P&Ls for your assigned line of business
• Revenue and expense reconciliations, including trend and margin analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations (cash, fixed assets, prepaids, revenue, expenses)
• Working closely with billing to resolve discrepancies and client issues
• Supporting invoice billing, remote check deposits, and select administrative items
• Identifying opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes
• Participating in ad hoc analysis and cross‑functional meetings

Background They’re Looking For

• Minimum of 5–6 years of accounting experience
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA (at least one passed exam is required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred(local or regional firms welcome; Big 4 not required)
• Strong journal entry and month‑end close experience
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus, not a requirement

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 remote
• More in‑office time during initial training
• Flexibility around which days are remote
• No travel
