Path to Accounting Manager

Key responsibilities:
• Own month-end close and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze P&Ls for a key business line
• Perform revenue and expense reconciliations with variance analysis
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations (cash, fixed assets, prepaids, etc.)
• Partner with billing to resolve discrepancies and client issues
• Support billing, deposits, and select administrative tasks
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
• Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional meetings
What they’re looking for:
• 5–6+ years of accounting experience
• CPA (or actively pursuing with at least one exam passed)
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• Public + industry experience preferred (no Big 4 required)
• Strong month-end close and journal entry experience
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Sage Intacct is a plus
Schedule:
• Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 remote
• More in-office during onboarding
• Flexible on remote days
• No travel required
