We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position for a professional with a strong background in fixed assets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our company's financial strategy and play a pivotal role in supporting our financial infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of accounting for fixed assets.
2. Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
4. Conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
5. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
6. Liaising with auditors and managing financial audits.
7. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
8. Providing insightful information and expectations to senior managers to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
9. Researching and analyzing financial reports and market trends.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior level role
3. Extensive knowledge and experience with GAAP and GL accounting.
4. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
5. Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
8. Candidates must be able to work in-office. Position is based just outside of Charlotte in the Southeast metro area.
