Role Overview:
The Senior Accountant will manage the general ledger, tax compliance, and key accounting functions while supporting the organization’s financial strategy. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions
• Oversee tax compliance, including preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings, and ensure timely remittance of taxes
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements
• Collaborate with the Controller and leadership team on financial reporting and strategy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including tax preparation and compliance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, core accounting principles, and tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
