Senior Account Manager – Commercial Painting (Business to Business)

$100,000–$150,000 OTE | Base + Commission | Relationship-Driven Commercial Sales

This Role Is 100% Commercial B2B

This is not residential sales. We are looking for experienced Account Managers with commercial experience.

What You’ll Actually Do As Senior Account Manager


Drive Commercial Revenue

  • Develop and grow relationships with property managers and facility directors
  • Identify project opportunities within commercial portfolios
  • Navigate longer sales cycles and bid processes
  • Turn single projects into recurring accounts


Own the Estimating Process

  • Walk commercial job sites
  • Scope large-scale painting projects accurately
  • Prepare competitive, margin-protected estimates
  • Present proposals confidently and professionally


Build Long-Term Accounts

  • Maintain consistent communication with decision-makers
  • Upsell and expand services within existing portfolios
  • Position Summit as a long-term commercial partner — not just a vendor


Own Your Numbers

  • Revenue targets
  • Gross margin performance
  • New account acquisition
  • Pipeline management inside CRM

What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable)


Senior Account Manager's must have:

  • 3+ years of direct B2B commercial sales experience
  • Experience selling into commercial properties, construction, or facility services
  • Familiarity with bid processes and contract-based work
  • Confidence walking job sites and speaking with decision-makers
  • Strong relationship-building skills (you’re comfortable entertaining clients and building referral networks)


Preferred backgrounds include:

  • Commercial painting
  • Commercial landscaping
  • Commercial roofing
  • Facility services
  • Construction account management


If your experience is primarily residential sales, this role will not align.
