Pay Scale: $30.00-$40.00
Do you have the technical skill to diagnose and repair commercial security and access control systems? We re seeking experienced Service Technicians who can support large-scale commercial customers with troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades. If you re detail-oriented, strong with electronics, and comfortable working independently, this opportunity puts you at the center of critical building security operations.

About the Opportunity / What You ll Do
You ll work on active commercial properties corporate campuses, industrial facilities, healthcare, education, and government buildings responding to service calls, performing system repairs, and supporting customer technology upgrades.
Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic access control systems
Troubleshoot card readers, REX devices, mag locks, strikes, DPS, door contacts, power supplies, and networked controllers
Service and configure commercial security platforms from leading manufacturers including:
o Lenel S2
o Software House (C CURE)
o AMAG Symmetry
o GENETEC
o Open Options
o HID (readers, credential tech)
Troubleshoot and service CCTV systems including fixed and PTZ cameras, NVRs, and VMS platforms such as Avigilon, Milestone, Exacq, Speco, and Axis
Install and service network cabling, low-voltage power, and structured pathway components
Read prints, riser diagrams, and one-line drawings to identify device layout and cable paths
Perform routine inspections, device testing, and preventative maintenance tasks
Document service work, update logs, report deficiencies, and communicate with customers and project teams
Use test equipment including multimeters, continuity testers, laptop-based configuration tools, and manufacturer software

Qualifications / Who You Are
2 5+ years commercial security and access control experience
Strong knowledge of electrified hardware, locksets, relays, door hardware integration, and system power requirements
Familiar with programming, addressable devices, credential formats, and system networking
Ability to troubleshoot independently in live customer environments
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain system issues to end users
Experience with boom lifts, ladders, and common low-voltage hand tools
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

$22.00 $32.00/hr depending on experience and manufacturer proficiency
