Title: Security Project Manager
Locations: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension.
Salary Range: $45- $50/Hour on W2 Only (All inclusive) Applicant must be willing to work on W2.
Job Overview
The Physical Security Project Manager will oversee the global initiative to modernize, standardize, and operationalize the physical security program across approximately 400 office locations worldwide. This role requires the ability to coordinate and execute large-scale, multi-region physical security projects, ensuring the seamless integration of physical security solutions such as access control, video surveillance, and perimeter security systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of project management, vendor coordination, risk management, and the ability to liaise across multiple teams, including IT, HR, Facilities, and Security.
Program and Deployment Planning:
- Develop and maintain a global physical security program plan, ensuring alignment with regional timelines, milestones, and dependencies (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
- Lead the creation of a project team model, detailing roles, handoffs, and escalation paths.
- Coordinate phased deployment strategies for:
- Customer office locations.
- New builds and office expansions.
- Support regional vendor selection efforts, including scope definition, vendor evaluations, and performance reviews.
- Identify risks and gaps with current vendors and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Act as the central point of coordination between customers and third-party integrators, ensuring vendor adherence to customer standards, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Oversee the deployment of physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and perimeter security.
- Track progress across sites and regions, managing interdependencies and sequencing.
- Identify deployment risks early and work proactively with stakeholders to mitigate delays or issues.
- Liaise between Security, Facilities, IT, HR, and Real Estate teams to ensure alignment of physical security designs with enterprise network requirements and HR systems.
- Coordinate construction timelines and facilities schedules with physical security requirements to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide regular status reports on program progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Assist in budget tracking, forecasting, and cost control discussions.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of all project documentation.
- Develop and manage the communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Establish governance processes for decision-making and change management.
- Lead risk assessment sessions and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure that the project adheres to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Experience: 10+ years in Project Management, with a focus on physical security, network security, or infrastructure projects. 15+ years of experience as a Program Manager leading large-scale projects is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field. PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in physical security technologies (access control, video surveillance, etc.).
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, and other digital tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
- Ability to create and maintain complex project schedules.
- Vendor Management: Experience in coordinating and managing relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and coaching to project managers.
- Risk Management: Proficient in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain organizational systems and processes.
- Experience in multi-region project deployment (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
- Familiarity with physical security design principles and integration with enterprise IT systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to travel globally as required for the coordination of deployments.
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
