As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with professional customer service. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
- Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, handling sensitive interactions with discretion, and completing required reports related to daily activity and/or incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
