Scheduler/CNA

Job Description:

The Vistas at Bettendorf is a compassionate and resident-centered skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. We value teamwork, respect, and professionalism—and we’re seeking a motivated Scheduler/CNA to join our team.The Scheduler/CNA is responsible for coordinating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts while also providing direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This hybrid role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a caring attitude toward residents and staff alike.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly nursing schedules.
• Communicate staffing changes promptly to department heads and employees.
• Fill open shifts by contacting staff, arranging replacements, or adjusting schedules.
• Perform CNA duties as assigned, including assisting residents with activities of daily living, personal care, and mobility.
• Support team morale and communicate effectively with nursing and administrative leadership
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.
• Previous scheduling experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
• Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
