Job Title: SAP Transportation Management Expert.

Location: Atlanta, GA/Onsite Role.

Duration: 6 Month with extension or possible Contract-To-Hire any time after 90 days.

Job Description: SAP Transportation Management Expert - Day 1 and 5 Days a week Onsite Role in Atlanta, GA.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an SAP TM Expert, you will play an essential role in optimizing and stabilizing the transportation and logistics execution capabilities of a global SAP S/4 transformation initiative for a Fortune 100 beverage manufacturer.
You will provide hands-on leadership in designing, configuring, testing, and supporting SAP TM solutions, driving significant business process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on SAP TM configuration, testing, and deployment across Freight Planning, Freight Execution, Carrier Selection, Freight Settlement, and Track and Trace.
Lead business requirement gathering sessions, translating business needs into comprehensive TM functional specifications.
Collaborate closely with EWM, SD, MM, Logistics, and Finance teams to design and implement integrated solutions.
Drive enhancements in Shipment Planning and Optimization, Carrier Collaboration, Charge Management, Freight Costing, and Analytics.
Provide detailed documentation and robust training for business stakeholders and end-users to facilitate adoption and usability.
Proactively address production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions for stabilization and operational excellence.

Required Technologies and Skills:

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with SAP TM.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
Deep expertise in configuring and supporting complex EWM environments within SAP S/4HANA.
Proven expertise in SAP TM embedded within S/4HANA and integration with EWM and ECC.
In-depth knowledge of Transportation Planning, Load Building, Tendering, Scheduling, Execution, and Settlement processes.
Expertise in configuring Freight Agreements, Freight Units, Transportation Units, and integration with external logistics providers.
Familiarity with transportation regulatory requirements, compliance, and best practices.
Experience with real-time transportation visibility solutions.
Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues between TM and other SAP modules (EWM, SD, MM, FICO).
Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
