Who You Are

You’re passionate about optimizing internal operations and empowering teams to get the most out of SAP systems. You thrive on expanding your technical expertise and designing innovative solutions. As a Solutions Technical Lead, you’ll play a key role in managing complex projects and critical business process workstreams within SAP and related financial platforms. You’ll drive system and process enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions and strong adoption across the organization. Your deep knowledge across multiple SAP modules allows you to quickly identify challenges and deliver effective, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA Finance solution design, configuration, and implementation, aligning system capabilities with business goals through detailed analysis and optimization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across various SAP modules, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, asset accounting, product costing, tax, treasury, and profitability analysis, offering strategic insights and hands-on support.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by implementing process enhancements, automation strategies, and streamlined workflows to boost efficiency and system performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Uphold change management protocols and internal control standards throughout the solution delivery process.
  • Support ongoing system upgrades and maintain the integrity of financial master data to ensure compliance and alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a live SAP environment, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on SAP functional experience in cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in two or more SAP FI/CO areas, such as general ledger, project systems, asset accounting, cost center accounting, margin analysis, and product cost controlling.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA cash management, treasury, and risk management.
  • Experience with tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Concur, TrinTech, ServiceNow, and GL Wand (InsightSoftware).
  • Expertise in enterprise structure design and finance master data management.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in complex environments.
  • Skilled in translating business needs into technical requirements and designing robust solutions.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Certification.
  • Experience with standard project activities including Fit-Gap analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and training.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Background in accounting or business process consulting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as Life Sciences (preferred).
