This role involves balancing daily operations with strategic project initiatives. Responsibilities include diagnosing system challenges, managing the movement of data reliably, and configuring system enhancements. Your work will involve managing support queries, advancing system functionalities, collaborating with various sites, and occasional travel.
You will be responsible for the configuration and support of SAP modules focused on materials management and production planning. Utilize tools like LSMW for effective data migration, drive process innovation, and support system integrations with external platforms. Document procedures, train end-users, and collaborate with diverse teams to enhance system functionalities.
The role demands close collaboration with departments such as procurement, supply chain, and production, as well as IT and international teams. You'll translate business needs into SAP solutions, lead testing and deployment efforts, manage cross-site implementations, and facilitate clear communication across different audiences.
Ideal candidates are analytical, organized, and adept at juggling support tasks and projects. They should communicate effectively, work autonomously, meet deadlines, and adapt to challenges with a proactive mindset. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, especially in a dynamic and globally interconnected work environment.
Qualifications for this position include over five years of experience in SAP MM/PP, an in-depth understanding of manufacturing operations, and knowledge of SAP integration and system architecture. Project management proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks independently are essential.
Additional benefits would be experience with software like Manhattan SCALE, or skills related to global manufacturing operations. Language skills, Lean methodologies, and international support experience are desirable.
