Job Title: SAP Developer
Location: Austin, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time
Expected hours per week: 40 hours
Schedule: Hybrid (onsite Tues-Thurs)
Pay Range (must include “per hour”): $70-76
Job Description:
On a typical day, this developer will be building and supporting SAP applications that the business relies on. They’ll spend time understanding what the business needs, writing and updating code, testing changes, and working with others to make sure everything works correctly before and after it goes live.
Day to day:
- Meeting with functional teams and project managers to understand business requirements and what needs to be built or changed
- Designing and coding SAP solutions using tools like SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, and related SAP cloud technologies
- Enhancing or customizing existing SAP systems and integrating them with other applications
- Testing their work, fixing issues, and making sure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards
- Supporting SAP applications after they go live by troubleshooting issues and making improvements
- Following agile development practices and adapting quickly as priorities or requirements change
- Using SAP cloud and “clean core” best practices rather than heavily customizing core systems
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation like design specs, test plans, and user guides
