Need an SAP Finance Functional SME who can comfortably take on challenges in unfamiliar areas, work independently, and has excellent communications skills. Project focused responsibility inclusive of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures where the individual(s) will work with a multi-disciplined user base to support system change requirements, develop functional specifications, and support project execution. Requires in-depth, hands-on experience in SAP across the following financial disciplines, Financial Accounting (FI), Cost Accounting (CO), Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules as well as working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Sarbanes Oxley
Sales and Distribution / Program Execution
• Multiple SAP Migration life cycles with a focus on SD Data Conversion, including Contracts, Customer and Material Master data, and Billed History, and data validation.
• Ability to organize and lead multi-disciplined team, communicate and meet program milestones, including mapping data extracts, mock data load cycles, data reconciliations, test cycles, and making adjustments based on findings.
• Sales Order and Contract Set Up and Maintenance, and the Delivery Process, as well as Billing, especially Resource Related Billing, and including Sales and Use Taxes; as well as involvement with the SD Master Data Maintenance Process
• Thorough understanding of how the SAP SD module integrates with HR, Project System, Controlling, and Finance modules
• Desired Skills: Aerospace & Defense Industry Billing experience and Working proficiency of DOD DFARS Billing Regulations
• Provide expertise and delivery for the Managed Programs and Earned Value (EV) functional life cycle phases. This team supports the delivery of high-quality application services primarily to United States Users
• Requirement to apply SAP PS configuration, along with a thorough understanding of the Managed Programs processes, especially project structure and how the processes interact across other SAP modules such as Timekeeping, Project Systems, Controlling and Finance, and Billing
