Required skills:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/HANA Consultant with strong expertise in HANA data modeling and SAP BW solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing HANA views, writing database procedures, and leading SAP BW on HANA to BW/4HANA migration initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, reporting tools, and performance optimization.


Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced HANA data models, including Calculation Views, Script Views, Analytical views
• Develop Scripted Calculation Views and implement complex logic using SQLScript
• Write and optimize HANA database procedures, functions, and performance tuning
• Lead and support SAP BW on HANA to SAP BW/4HANA migration projects:
• System conversion
• Remote/landscape transformation
• Data validation and reconciliation
• Develop and maintain SAP BW data models
• InfoProviders (ADSO, InfoObjects, Composite Providers)
• Create and enhance BEx Queries for reporting and analytics
• Build reports and dashboards using Analysis for Office
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization across systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• SAP BDC, Datasphere, and SAC Reporting is plus

• 10+ years of experience in SAP BW and SAP HANA
• Strong expertise in
• HANA View Modeling (Graphical & Scripted Views)
• SQLScript and database procedures
• Performance tuning in HANA
• Proven experience in SAP BW on HANA to BW/4HANA migration
• Hands-on experience with BEx Query Designer and Analysis for Office
• Strong knowledge of:
• SAP BW Modeling (ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views)
• Data extraction and transformation processes
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and performance
