Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2–3 years of sanitation experience in food processing or manufacturing.
Prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of sanitation best practices and food safety regulations.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in wet, cold environments.
Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Schedule & Compensation
The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am with occasional Saturdays.
Overtime required based on production needs & demands.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and mentor a team of sanitation technicians.
Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide coaching.
Oversee and execute the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
Perform deep cleaning, dismantle/reassemble equipment, and operate sanitation tools.
Ensure proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals per SDS guidelines.
Conduct pre-operational inspections and document sanitation activities.
Enforce GMPs, SOPs, and regulatory food safety standards.
Maintain safety compliance, including LOTO and Confined Space protocols.
Report sanitation deficiencies, equipment issues, and safety hazards promptly.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with strict food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
