A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Sanitation & Production Worker in South Bend, IN 46628.
The Sanitation & Production Worker would be working for a Major Manufacturing Company and has career growth potential.
Sanitation & Production Worker Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Pay Range: $19.00 hourly
- Duration: 12 months with possibility to extend
- Location: South Bend, IN 46628
Sanitation & Production Worker Responsibilities:
- Operate and support activities on the packaging line, including product handling, labeling, weighing, sealing, and palletizing.
- Assist with product changeovers, staging materials, and line clean-up to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine sanitation tasks, including cleaning equipment, tools, and work areas to meet food safety and quality standards.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and sanitation schedules.
- Monitor product quality during production and promptly report issues to the supervisor.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment according to training.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production and sanitation activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and support a safe, efficient work environment.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift) to move materials as needed.
Sanitation & Production Worker Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing, production, or sanitation preferred but not required (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
- Flexibility to move between production and sanitation tasks.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts if required.
