Core Functions of the Sales Support Specialist

• Provide guidance on AT&T Fiber speeds, hardware, and service options to support residential sales and ensure optimal customer setups.
• Explain technical advantages and account recommendations to enhance customer experience and drive sales outcomes.
• Process activations, hardware orders, and migrations accurately, resolving setup challenges to guarantee seamless onboarding and successful sales.
• Track sales activity, assist sales teams, and maintain accurate records while reinforcing AT&T’s brand value and compliance standards.
• As a Sales Support Specialist, you remove technical ambiguity before installation begins. The Sales Support Specialist consults on fiber-to-the-home feasibility, validates address eligibility, and aligns service configurations with household needs—ensuring every residential customer’s setup is optimized for speed, reliability, and long-term satisfaction.

Education & Experience Needed for the Sales Support Specialist

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in retail, sales, or customer support is an advantage but not required
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills to simplify AT&T Fiber specifications, resolve billing inquiries, and address residential service questions professionally.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, digital tablets, and reporting tools to manage residential accounts, track performance metrics, and ensure compliance with AT&T standards.
