About the Opportunity
CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support a pharmaceutical sample program in a highly regulated environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with PDMA and internal regulatory standards while supporting field sales operations and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities
* Support daily operations of the pharmaceutical sample program, ensuring compliance with PDMA, FDA, GDP, and SOX regulations
* Manage order entry, fulfillment, invoicing, and returns processing with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
* Monitor and manage communications through the Sample Administration inbox, resolving inquiries from field personnel and stakeholders
* Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Legal, IT, Supply Chain, Marketing, and third-party vendors to support compliant sample distribution and reporting
* Maintain accurate sales representative rosters by tracking onboarding, territory changes, and terminations
* Troubleshoot system issues across ERP, EDI, and sample tracking platforms to ensure seamless operations
* Generate and analyze reports using Excel and Power BI to monitor performance and identify process improvements
Requirement:
* High school diploma or GED required
* 3-5 years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree, or 7-9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
* Working knowledge of PDMA regulations and familiarity with cGMP and related regulatory standards
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
* Experience supporting pharmaceutical or life sciences sales operations
* Familiarity with Oracle ERP, EDI systems, and Power BI reporting tools
* Proven ability to implement process improvements in a regulated environment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
* Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
* Frequent use of computers, telephones, and handheld devices
* Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying environmental conditions, including office and warehouse settings
* No travel required
