As a Permanent Sales Representative in the Manufacturing industry, you will have the thrilling opportunity to drive growth and shape the future of our company. This role is perfect for seasoned sales professionals who are passionate about industrial packaging and have a proven track record in the field. You will be the face of our company, representing our brand and products to potential clients. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and secure contracts to help us meet our sales goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial packaging sales.
- Demonstrated excellence in negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong motivation for sales and a passion for the manufacturing industry.
- Comprehensive product knowledge and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products.
- Exceptional prospecting skills and a knack for identifying potential clients.
- Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to build and maintain strong connections.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
