Through research and development, we have incorporated premium components using the best materials including individually wrapped coils, ultra-premium visco-elastic memory foam (Gel foam), advanced traditional wire-tied spring systems, and natural latex. Our growing organization seeks an experienced, motivated business to business Sales Representative to help build our Kentucky and Indiana footprint. We're looking for a self-starter who can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge within the mattress industry. Our proven model for success has resulted in our being one of the fastest growing mattress companies in the industry.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and resources to drive the sales of our diverse portfolio of products. The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment is a must. If you are driven by challenges and have an entrepreneurial spirit, this is a great opportunity with large earning potential. Other responsibilities include:
- Proactively identify, target, and close new business opportunities within retail and hospitality channels
- Build, develop, and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers and owners
- Develop sales based on new and current customer base
- Develop sales channels for our product assortment and manage distribution of products in the given area
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Understand competition and competitive landscape
- Prepare and submit sales reports to management in a timely manner
- Generate ideas and identify opportunities to grow your business
- Act as a liaison between customers and the company
- Provide customer feedback and report market conditions
- Own territory strategy, including prospecting plans, account penetration, and revenue forecasting
- Negotiate pricing, programs, and long-term agreements that create mutual value
- Deliver compelling presentations and product training to retail partners
- Drive account retention, growth, and profitability through consistent relationship management
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship
Position Requirements
- A self-motivated individual seeking a career position with an industry leader
- Two (2) years outside mattress or furniture sales experience
- Four (4) or more years furniture or mattress retail sales is a plus
- Solid experience in sales and customer service
- Demonstratable experience in negotiating and meeting client's requirements
- In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
- Must live within geographical areas of: Indiana and Northern Kentucky
- Must be flexible and able to travel up to 50%; overnight travel, occasionally
- Proven track record of new business development and territory growth
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and earn trust at all levels
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach
- Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture

Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary level is competitive. Employees will become eligible for an excellent benefits package during their employment, including:
