We are seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced Permanent Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a strong interest in technology and engineering, and who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing territories, and generating leads. This role will also require a "hunter" mentality, constantly seeking new opportunities and clients. Knowledge and experience in firestopping is a must.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Sales Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Meeting and exceeding sales quotas consistently.
2. Managing and developing your territory effectively to identify new business opportunities.
3. Generating leads through various channels, including direct outreach, networking, and marketing activities.
4. Implementing a "hunter" approach to sales, actively seeking out new clients and opportunities.
5. Presenting and promoting our engineering solutions to potential clients, demonstrating how our products meet their needs.
6. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
7. Providing accurate sales forecasts and strategies to the management team.
8. Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow, sales process and market trends.
9. Utilizing your knowledge of firestopping to educate clients, address their concerns, and provide solutions.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Experience selling services or solutions in firestopping, fire protection, building envelope, or specialty construction
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and jobsite dynamics
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and understand scope requirements
- Proven relationship-building and consultative sales skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communication and follow-through
