QUALIFICATIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Canvassing neighborhoods (especially after storms)
Following up on company-provided leads
Networking with realtors, insurance agents, property managers
Cold calling or door knocking (in many companies)
 
2. Roof Inspections
Climbing roofs to inspect for damage (hail, wind, wear and tear)
Taking photos and measurements
Identifying repair vs. full replacement needs
Documenting storm damage for insurance claims
Explaining findings clearly to the homeowner
 
3. Sales & Presentations
Presenting roofing options (materials, colors, systems)
Explaining warranties and manufacturer products
Preparing and delivering estimates
Closing sales and getting contracts signed
Overcoming objections and negotiating pricing
 
4. Insurance Claim Assistance (Very Common in Roofing)
Helping homeowners understand the insurance process
Meeting insurance adjusters on-site
Providing documentation for claims
Reviewing scope of loss reports
Explaining what is covered vs. not covered

ABP Construction is hiring motivated individuals for our sales rep position—You’ll receive hands-on training from experienced team leads and be placed on a high-performing sales team.

No experience in roofing or sales? No problem. We’re looking for dependable, hard-working people with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. If you show up, put in the work, and stay coachable, you’ll have every opportunity to move up quickly.

Canvas areas affected by hail and wind damage and speak with homeowners in assigned neighborhoods
Schedule inspection appointments for roofing assessments
Track all activity accurately in SalesRabbit, a state-of-the-art field sales app (training provided)
Shadow top producers and gain experience in the full sales process

Represent ABP Construction with professionalism and integrity
Requirements

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physically able to walk neighborhoods and carry a ladder or other heavy items (up to 75 lbs)
Comfortable working outdoors
Full-time availability, including occasional weekends
