The Sales Manager is tasked with being the key liaison for WCI shows in dealing with guest accounts. The principal duty will be to establish a rapport with our guest accounts to bring business to WCI. The manager is primarily responsible for area assigned to them by the VP of Sales. The manager's main area of attention should be increasing revenue for WCI via excellent customer service and attention to detail for WCI guests.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and maintain the WCI strategies and tactics to have the guest experience the ultimate in family fun and entertainment
- Work with WCI marketing and sales team to develop content for any/all sales collateral including but not limited to direct mail pieces, brochures, flyers, newsletters, social media and emails.
- Establish and manage systems for sales lead generation including direct mail, trade/consumer shows, traditional sales efforts, newsletters, and social media.
- Establish and manage sales budgets and sales reporting.
- Generate new business and support existing business in all sales channels. Included but not limited to presentations within assigned market. Answering incoming and establishing a list of outgoing calls to recruit new business and maintain existing business.
EXPECTATIONS
The primary goal of the Sales Manager should be that of increasing sales in their respective markets. To help do this the candidate must be creative and establish a great rapport with our guests. WCI will make every attempt to support and enhance his/her abilities to ensure that proper training and education is given to accomplish this. The manager will meet with the VP of Sales on a weekly basis to ensure that he/she stays on task with this goal in mind.
Other Job Functions
- Represent WCI at various trade/travel shows and professional groups.
- Assist in creation and execution of WCI special events.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as assigned by VP of Sales. Must be available to work weeknights to meet and greet groups as assigned by VP of Sales. Please remember you are working in hospitality so please expect to work extended hours during our busy season. Vacation may or may not be approved by VP of sales depending on seasonality.
- Other duties as specified primarily by VP of Sales as well as Director of Marketing (DOM), Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Bachelor's Degree, business, marketing, or communications degree preferred.
Experience : Four years related experience in a sales role. Experience in a dinner show/variety show or attraction sales preferred. Existing client list and professional contacts appropriate to East Tennessee helpful.
Computer Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of CORE ticketing and previous experience working with CRM systems a plus.
