Safety Manager opportunity in Miami - Direct Hire

Our client is an Engineering firm providing personalized consulting engineering services is seeking a Safety Manager for their Miami office who will be responsible for leading the organization's safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies, procedures, and training programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Safety Manager will collaborate closely with operational groups, field personnel, and leadership to promote a culture of safety, manage incident reporting, and drive continuous improvements in safety performance.

• Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead the implementation of OSHA and other relevant standards to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Design, deliver, and coordinate safety training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing safety certifications.
• Lead investigations of incidents, injuries, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field required
• The Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in safety management
