Sales Engineer – Industrial Capital Equipment

A company with a facility in Novi, MI area is currently seeking several industrial capital equipment Sales Engineers for Direct Hire opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Sales Engineers looking for a company that offers excellent growth, strong leadership, development opportunities, competitive compensation, and excellent benefits. Local candidates are preferred, but relocation assistance is available for well qualified candidates.

Sales Engineer rates are anticipated to be $90,000 – $130,000 salaried based on each candidate’s experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Bonus opportunities are available in addition to base compensation.

Qualified Sales Engineers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years of recent / relevant experience with capital equipment sales, preferably industrial or engineered systems
• 5+ years of recent / relevant experience with technical or engineering-based sales is highly preferred
• Experience selling custom engineered equipment and complex systems with automation components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong experience with customer relationship management, proposal development, and contract negotiation
• Ability to prepare and present technical sales presentations (PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Must be able to travel 30–50% domestically and internationally, including trade shows, customer visits, and project support

• A BS degree in Engineering or related technical field is a benefit but not essential, equivalent industrial sales and technical experience will be strongly considered
• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered)
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
