A global automotive components manufacturer in the Mason, OH area is looking for an Associate Level Sales Engineer who has 1-2 years B2B sales experience to join their team. Their Ohio and Atlanta offices have been working with the Automotive Industry for years. Their product is the mechanical side of automotive components. This position sometimes is required working on product design, so we are looking for someone with strong mechanical knowledge. Also, we are looking for someone who can travel to Ontario, Canada once a month. (The sales trip can be up to one week).

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who can do monthly business trips to Ontario, Canada. Also, we are looking for an individual who has great communication skills and consistent work ethic, with a desire to be part of a fast-growing and company.

This position does not support your work VISA in USA or transfer your work VISA. You must be either US citizen or permanent resident to apply to this position. None negotiation for this at this moment.

Responsibilities for Associate Level Sales Engineer:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills in the development of work environment, promote open communication, and teamwork to achieve business objectives
  • Communicating in a positive manner with all areas, including Customers, Suppliers and Transportation Management
  • Consult/ communicate mechanical design with production team and clients
  • Negotiate rates with customers and suppliers
  • Develop solid relationships with customers and suppliers
  • React quickly to service issues and resolve appropriately in a professional manner
  • Place outbound phone calls (cold calling) to expand the business pipelines
  • Completing other tasks as assigned

Requirements for Associate Level Sales Engineer:

  • Previous Sales Experience in Automotive components industry (B2B preferred), but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes
  • General IT knowledge is desirable
  • Is able to travel to Ontario, Canada to visit clients (Up to 25%)
  • Has work authorizations in USA (US Citizen or US Green Card Holder. NO TN VISA or any other work VISA)
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
  • You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision, as well as, lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
