Sales and Project Coordinator

GC Valves, a division of DEMA Engineering Company, is seeking a Sales & Project Coordinator to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role bridges sales, engineering, operations, and customer service, ensuring projects move efficiently from opportunity through launch while delivering exceptional customer experience.

This is not a traditional customer service role. It is a coordination-driven position for someone who thrives at managing relationships, driving projects forward, and ensuring operational execution aligns with customer expectations.

What You'll Do

Customer & Sales Support

• Serve as primary point of contact for key distributors and OEM accounts
• Support quotations, proposals, pricing, and documentation
• Coordinate order execution activities, including review and entry support
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding lead times, product capabilities, and order status
• Maintain high levels of responsiveness and professionalism

Project Coordination

• Lead cross-functional onboarding and new product initiatives
• Develop timelines, track milestones, and facilitate project meetings
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure successful launches
• Identify risks and proactively drive resolution

Cross-Functional Alignment

• Act as liaison among Sales, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations
• Maintain CRM and ERP system accuracy
• Track and report project metrics

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, project coordination, or customer-facing roles
• Strong organizational skills and ability to balance project work and transactional responsibilities
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and CRM/ERP systems
• Manufacturing or engineered product experience preferred
