Account Manager, Public Sector
The Midtown Group is seeking an Account Manager to support our Public Sector Department! This account manager will oversee a portfolio of clients, build long-lasting relationships with our hiring managers, and be the client’s primary contact for managing their accounts. Customer service and communication skills, as well as account management experience, are vital for this role. This role will also work closely with our VP of Government Services.
Duties include:
- Takes ownership of accounts once BD has established the account by hitting a defined threshold
- Support Division BD with management of clients and delivery of candidates for job orders
- Search for new BD opportunities and help to grow existing client business
- Assist with reporting and maintenance of BD pipeline
- Proposal Support and delivery
- Input client information into ATS (Bullhorn)
- Communicate directly with clients to submit candidates, coordinate interview schedules, and obtain feedback on interviews
- Full knowledge of reqs/job orders to assure recruiting team has targeted focus
- Work directly with Client for matters pertaining to timesheet approvals
- Handle client concerns and address issues
- Visit clients regularly to support and foster relationships
- Participate in program kick-off meetings with VP, BD/CPM and take the lead for oversight and management
- Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and other components of placement process
